The Burke Museum is dedicated to creating a better understanding of the world and our place in it. The museum is responsible for Washington State collections of natural history and cultural heritage, and for sharing the knowledge that makes them meaningful. The Burke welcomes a broad and diverse audience and provides a community gathering place that nurtures life-long learning and encourages respect, responsibility, and reflection.

Tacoma Art Museum was founded by a group of volunteers in 1935 and has since grown to become a national model for regional, mid-sized museums. The museum is dedicated to exhibiting and collecting Northwest art, with the mission of connecting people through art. The museum’s permanent collection includes the premier collection of Dale Chihuly’s glass artwork on permanent public display.

The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience is the first Smithsonian affiliate in the Pacific Northwest and the only pan-Asian Pacific American Museum in the U.S. We are dedicated to preserving and illuminating the rich history, culture and art of Asian Pacific Americans for the benefit of all. Bellevue Arts Museum is the Pacific Northwest's center for the exploration of art, craft and design through exhibitions, educational programs and partnerships, emphasizing the work of regional artists.

We're bringing the history of our community to life in a dynamic new waterfront location. The new Harbor History Museum is on the corner of Harborview Drive, nestled between Donkey Creek Park and Gig Harbor bay. The 14,500 sq. ft. museum will showcase our community's past through creative hands-on exhibits, larger than life experiences, and engaging programs. Once completed, the Harbor History Museum will be the gem of the historic downtown in Gig Harbor and the greater peninsula area.

ACT seeks to create a conversation with its work, its season, that reaches for something broader, deeper, seeking to create a philosophical view, or a more connected sense of compassion with our fellow beings and the world at large...An investigation, a sense of experiment, of searching for the new idea or synthesis.

The Museum of Flight exists to acquire, preserve, and exhibit historically significant air and space artifacts, which provide a foundation for scholarly research, and lifelong learning programs that inspire an interest in and understanding of science, technology, and the humanities.

The Broadway Center is recognized for its leadership in presenting world-class performing artists, providing one of the largest performing arts education programs in Washington State and preserving Tacoma's historic theaters.
